2007 SYRACUSE CITY MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

The Syracuse City Primary Election was held September 11, 2007 and of the 9,548 registered voters in Syracuse, 1,570 of you turned out to vote. This is average for a Primary Election, but hopefully we can generate a greater turnout for the General Election.
Congratulations to the six candidates that earned enough votes to advance to the
General Election. Those candidates whose names will appear on the General
Election ballot are as follows: Alan L. Clark
Doug Hammond
Byron Hellewell
Douglas Peterson
Dean Steel
Larry ShingletonThere will also be two referendum issues on the ballot. The ballot language for those

The General Election will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Syracuse Community Center, 1912 W. 1900 S. Those residents that are not currently registered must be registered no later than October 6, 2007 in order to vote in the General Election. Mail-in voter registration forms are available at City Hall or by following the following link http://www.daviscountyutah.gov/clerkauditor/elections/registration.cfm.
Early voting will be an option for the General Election. However, early voting will not be conducted at City Hall. Please click on the link below to view the early voting schedule for times and locations or call the City Recorder at 614-9633.
