The Syracuse City Arts Council is dedicated to making Syracuse an art community. Since Syracuse is the gateway to Antelope Island, our opportunities to enjoy the beauty of nature and wildlife within and surrounding our community is a wonderful gift. It is the Arts Council's goal to provide learning experiences as well as opportunities to express and display our creative talents by sharing them with each other through not only the fine arts, but the performing arts of music, poetry and theater as well.
Syracuse Guild for the Visual Arts
The SGVA is looking for artists in the Syracuse area to become participating members. The SGVA provides the community with an outlet for encouraging and supporting those who wish to share, motivate, market, and inspire their creative and artistic talents. The SGVA is seeking those whose talents include, but are not limited to, pen/ink, watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, stained glass, mixed media, printmaking, and other fine-art mediums.
The SGVA meets every other month at the Syracuse Community Center (see the Arts Council Events and News link for more information).
