The Davis County Syracuse Northwest Branch was opened in August 2003.  The Branch has a collection of approximately 50,000 items.  Within 5 years, the collection is projected to increase to 65,000 items.  The collection will focus on high demand items like the children's books, best-sellers, books-on-tape, videos, and more.

2010 Summer Reading Program

Every year the Davis County Library system provides an outstanding summer reading program intended to help encourage your child to read during the summer and to enjoy being at the library. Every year the program has a theme. The Davis County Library 2010 Summer Reading Program theme is "Make a Splash"

Over the course of the summer reading program, the various library branches will host a wide variety of fun activities and programs designed to entertain, educate, and motivate reading. The events are intended to focus on elementary age children, but will be of interest to people of all ages.
